High & Low Volume Composite Production

Lightwave Composites specialises in composite manufacturing for both high and low volume production. This facility manufactures major composites parts projects and custom yacht furniture using advanced FRP (Fibreglass Reinforced Plastic) techniques including infusion & Lite RTM (Resin Transfer Moulding) for clients. RTM Lite is an advanced closed mould process which has a high quality smooth finish on both sides of the part.

Mold & Plug Manufacturing

Mould and plug manufacturing have been a large part of Lightwave Composites business. We offer an in-house mould making service which is the first stage in realising a product; Lightwave Composites develop and custom build moulds for product design or concept. A high-quality plug/mould is essential for a perfect end product.

One Off Fabrication & Marine Work

Our professional service, world class standard of workmanship, and unmatched general multihull knowledge extends to one-off fabrication and marine work.

Currently in our twenty fourth year of production, Lightwave Group Pty Ltd has produced over 80 luxury catamarans to date and have had numerous one-off custom yacht projects in both carbon fibre and fibreglass ranging from 12ft to 140ft.
